“Our quality never wavers. A key driver is the delivery of the finest quality jewellery on time, anywhere in the world.” – Darrin Smith
OROAFRICA has located its manufacturing facility within the secure premises of Rand Refinery. It is here where we produce a large range of wedding bands, cast diamond jewellery and intricate handmade jewellery using state-of-the-art technology. Our products are produced to the highest quality specifications and we exhibit and sell our products at international trade fairs from Las Vegas to Hong Kong.
Today’s consumer is more concerned about the future of our planet and the people that live on it than ever before. They wish to purchase products that have contributed to a better future. OROAFRICA is uniquely placed to offer production of gold jewellery using certified responsible gold conforming to all requirements of the Dodd-Frank Act, OECD, LBMA, WGC and RJC requirements. This is due to a cooperative venture with Rand Refinery, the world’s largest refinery and producer of the internationally renowned Kruger Rand.
All gold used in the production of our jewellery is independently certified to be new gold. Part of the revenue generated from the sourcing of this gold is used to contribute to development in the areas of nature conservation, health care, education, skills development and job creation in Africa.
It is with this in mind that OROAFRICA became a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council, an international organisation consisting of the leading jewellery companies focused on ensuring our industry adheres to the best practices of responsible sourcing. OROAFRICA is a leader in many ways with a commitment to the future and making a difference to our world.
Our sales and design team are constantly looking at international trends and providing our factory with the best range of jewellery to produce. These are designed to meet specific price points and serve our customers’ unique needs.
With the solid expertise of our manufacturing, sales and design teams, we are always looking for new markets and new ways to reflect this fact. With the upsurge in technology, consumers have many more choices. The range of gifts available to consumers now includes iPods, cellphones, palm pilots, and so forth. These devices are manufactured with built-in obsolescence. They do not last. But jewellery does - and that’s the difference.
