OPENING AN ACCOUNT


In order to open an account, you will first need to complete and sign the OROAFRICA account application form. Upon submission, please allow at least ten days for processing and the notification of credit terms.

During the processing period, orders will be delivered on prepaid terms only. Payments for prepaid and cash sales can be made via credit card (Visa and MasterCard).

Please note that overdue accounts will be delivered on prepaid terms only. Accounts that are consistently overdue will have their credit limits lowered, with payment terms adjusted and interest charged accordingly.

PRICING

Please note that all pieces can be sold by item, and not necessarily by weight. All weights included in the catalogue are an approximation, and are included solely for your reference.

All prices and weights listed in the catalogue are subject to change without prior notice. Please note that actual prices may be different from those printed in the catalogue as a result of daily fluctuations in the gold price and exchange rates.

ERRORS

OROAFRICA shall take all reasonable efforts to indicate accurate prices and delivery charges. However, should products be erroneously offered at incorrect prices and/or delivery charges, OROAFRICA will not be obliged to sell products at such incorrect prices and/or delivery charges, and shall only be liable to refund monies paid should you not wish to proceed with the purchase at the correct price and/or delivery charge.


PLACING AN ORDER


To place an order with OROAFRICA, simply call our customer care line on 0860-AFRICA or email the details of your purchase to [email protected]. Please note that there are no minimum order requirements.

When placing your order, please refer to the style number detailed in the catalogue to ensure your order is captured correctly. Make sure your account number is on hand, and remember to request a reference number for your order. This will help you to track it during the processing and delivery period.


DELIVERY


All in-stock items will be subject to same-day delivery, provided they have been ordered and paid for before the daily 1pm deadline.

Delivery fees will be charged on all orders, returns and exchanges.

While deliveries are not usually made over weekends, they may be arranged by making a special request and for an additional charge. Similarly, overnight deliveries can also be arranged at special request for a supplementary charge. However, an additional day will be required should the delivery address fall outside a major urban centre.


RETURNS


All merchandise may be returned within 15 days of the date of invoicing, provided that it is accompanied by a copy of the invoice, as well as any specialised packaging or display material included. In addition, a valid reason must be provided for the return of the item.

Please note that all returns are credited at the discretion of OROAFRICA, and that items modified in any way will not qualify for return credit. This includes, but is not limited to, items that have been resized or personalised with an engraved message. Additionally, custom-made and special order items will not qualify for return credit.


DIAMOND MERCHANDISE


All diamond purchases can be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from an internationally recognised laboratory. This service is available at an additional charge, on special request.

Should you require a different quality of diamond than those advertised in this catalogue, we will be able to accommodate your needs with a special order item. This requires a special request and is offered at an additional charge. 

JEWELLERY


Where items in the catalogue are not listed as having a centre stone, one will be provided on request. The centre stone options available are as follows:

  • Diamond
  • Tanzanite
  • White gold (WG)
  • Yellow gold (YG)
  • Blue topaz
  • Peridot
  • Amethyst


SPECIAL ORDERS


‘Special orders’ are orders made by request, whereby the item is customised in a particular way and therefore deviates from the standard item as advertised in the catalogue.

We will endeavour, as far as possible, to provide your custom-made piece in the requested size or with the particular diamond specifications that you require. However, please note that manufacturing special orders may have an implication on delivery lead times.

For your reference, all items with personalised engraving are considered to be special orders.

Please note that special order items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Where possible, items in the catalogue are shown in their actual size and colour. However, there may be variations from the finished product due to the printing process.

We reserve the right to correct any errors in our catalogue and in the advertised price list without prior notice.
